gift horse

I received a small digital clock as a gift from a company that I recruit employees through, and I’ve set it to the correct time twice now. I just glanced at it, and noticed it has said 2:17 all day. I think it’s safe to assume it’s not working properly. Additionally, the batteries for the light on my keychain-letter opener-pen light wore out. Luckily, the letter opener part works without the battery.

Speaking of clocks, we had to buy a new alarm clock the night we moved into this apartment; cause we packed ours in a box and didn't find it for 3 months. Back to the clock bought at Walgreen's 24 hour crappy pharmacy; I plugged it in and set the real time and then the alarm time and did the am, pm, am, pm, am pm check at least twenty times and then went to choose between the sound of really loud beeping which may have been previously used as an alert sound during The Blitz or the sounds of radio. Wisely choosing radio I started to hunt for a station.

The only station that clock will play are Jesus stations in english or spanish.
